Náplň práce

For a position of as System Administrator we're looking for a responsible and intelligent person with good knowledge of Linux administration and networking. Responsible -- to care enough about what he's doing, intelligent -- to be able to learn some new things if necessary. The technologies and applications below are rather an example and can change.

The job will be taking care about staging and production severs with PHP/RubyOnRails projects (at the current moment):

-- Linux (Debian) dedicated servers, VDSes and cloud computing solutions (like Amazon EC2),
-- Webservers: Apache, Mongrel, Lighttpd,
-- DNS configuration: Named,
-- High availability clusters: MySQL master-slave replication, heartbeat, software loadbalancers,
-- Monitoring of usage and uptime: e.g. munin,
-- Deployment: shell scripting, capistrano, svn, git,
-- Mail servers: e.g. postfix, courier imap...

Požadujeme

You shouldn't necessarily know all those technologies, but you should be able and interested in learning and solving those things.
You should be able to communicate in English.
