Náplň práce

You will assist the autobuild team with all matters related to processing maintenance updates working closely together with the Maintenance Coordination TPMs, the package maintainers, the QA teams and the Product TPMs in the respective areas.

In close cooperation with all groups you will ensure that our updates will be created reliably and that the infrastructure for doing this stays intact.

You will need technical and communication skills to interact with the various stakeholder groups reviewing code differences and alignment with policies and processes.

You should also have an eye on the infrastructure adapting it to changing needs and to upcoming product lines and needs of the update stacks used.

Other objectives:

o Improving and keeping up reliability of the maintenance processes.


Activities:

o Technical review of submitted code

o Tracking of updates in the queue

o Coordination with Maintenance and Security Teams

Požadujeme

Qualifications:

You should have longer experience with handling packages and updates and will need communication skills in difficult situations. You should also have a high level of stress tolerance.

You will need knowledge in many areas of the Linux Operating System, and funded knowledge in some programming languages (C, perl) and should enjoy getting introduced to other programming languages.

Strong dedication to timely delivery, quality standards and process conformance.
