In readiness to independently operate our modern business applications stack, SUSE is now further expanding its internal IT function to support and enable the rapid growth of the organization. As part of this young and dynamic team, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Engineer (BI DWH Engineer).

In this role you’ll bear responsibility for the firm's enterprise-wide IT support for data and information governance, business intelligence tools and effective data exploitation. You will support the design, implementation and operations around enterprise data warehouse and other information systems to holistically support the organization’s cloud infrastructure.

Focus Area

Design, maintain and enhance cloud-based data models and ETL processes, including business semantics, meta data management, meta data work flow management and data modeling.
Deliver technical solutions according to business needs and specifications.
Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
Create and maintain data marts.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting, maintain and improve existing BI solutions at the company.
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
In alignment with BI TPO, analyze requirements, plan, implement and maintain application, data and associated solution architecture initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Maintain and document technical BI architecture requirements for development, execution and operations environments.

Požadujeme

3+ years of experience in insight-driven data processing, data-platform design and implementation, with a focus on cloud-based software solutions.
Experience with data warehousing and building data marts.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure architectures and application portfolios (AWS, Azure or similar).
Practical knowledge of designing and writing SQL queries, experience with AWS S3, Glue, Redshift and/or Power BI a plus.
At least basic knowledge of agile framework.

Good knowledge of technical concepts and tools in analytics and/or programming languages.
Well-organized with the ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues.

Ability to learn new systems quickly and work with large amounts of complex data.
Drive to deliver results in a fast-paced, international team, with hands-on mentality.
