Náplň práce
SUSE L3 is a globally distributed team of highly skilled Linux developers who evaluate, analyze, and fix software defects reported by SUSE customers and partners.
The L3 team, part of SUSE's Engineering & Innovation organization, is responsible for coordinating the defect-resolution process in a wide range of SUSE Linux products. Ranging from core kernel bugs to High Availability and cloud solution technologies, from applications to web servers to storage solutions and everything in between that connects all these technologies together.
You consider yourself an inquisitive mind, thirsty for knowledge and always looking for ways on how to grow & expand that knowledge, you understand the art of troubleshooting and like resolving different and often complex scenarios in Linux and open-source space then apply below.
You will work in cross-functional teams within the broader SUSE organization on reported bugs and complex technical problems, either on your own or in close cooperation with other excellent Linux engineers.
Key responsibilities:
Evaluating and reproducing reported issues
Technical analysis of issues and bugs in Linux based software products
Fixing code defects and publishing patches
Coordination of, and active involvement in, the bug-fixing process

Friendliness and assertiveness
Good spoken and written knowledge of English
Good knowledge of the C programming language
Good understanding of the Linux operating system
Hands-on knowledge of Linux debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques
Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
Experience with SUSE Linux, openSUSE or other Linux distributions
Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision
Desired skills:
Knowledge of other programming language(s), e.g. C++, Perl, Python, Bash, ...
Programmers knowledge of the Linux Kernel
Intermediate knowledge in networking
Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies
User experience in Cloud computing environments
