Náplň práce

Job Purpose:
As part of an international support delivery organization, provide technical support to customers with solutions based on Linux. This includes both proactive and reactive technical support. The position requires exceptional troubleshooting skills, and good customer handling and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and provide accurate and timely resolution to customer issues via phone, email or electronic chat .
* Prevent customer issues by updating or authoring technical documents and sending helpful technical information to customers.

Požadujeme

Candidate Profile:
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management of Information Systems OR equivalent knowledge gained from practical experience. Previous technical work experience is clearly preferred.
* Experience working with Linux (preferably SUSE and RedHat) distributions. Very good written and verbal communication in English and German.
* Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and public relations skills necessary.
* Good customer handling skills and ability to work in environments with high levels of stress, dealing with complex technical issues.

Required Skills:
* Written and verbal communication in English AND German.
* Understanding of hardware and computer architecture.
* Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
* Experience with one or more of the following operating systems: Linux, UNIX, Solaris, AIX or Windows.
