Náplň práce

Job Purpose:
As part of a large international support delivery organization, provide technical support to customers with solutions based on predominately Linux, NetWare or MS Windows platforms . This includes both proactive and reactive technical support as well as occasional travel to customer sites within EMEA. The position clearly requires exceptional troubleshooting skills, and outstanding customer communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and provide accurate and timely resolution to customer issues
* Prevent customer issues by writing technical documents and sending helpful technical information to customers
* Occasional customer on-site visits within EMEA
* Document solutions to known issues

Požadujeme

Candidate Profile:
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management of Information Systems OR equivalent knowledge gained from practical experience. Previous technical work experience is clearly preferred.
* Solid technical know-how related to current versions of GroupWise, MS Exchange, Sendmail and/or Netware and Directory Services
* Fluent written and verbal communication in English as well as fluent in one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish or Italian. German and French with strongest focus
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communications, and public relations skills necessary.
* Solid Linux technical know-how, preferably with LPI Level 1 or CompTIA Linux + qualification
* Must have excellent customer handling skills and be used to working in environments with high levels of stress, dealing with complex technical issues whilst managing customer expectations during systems down situations.
