Náplň práce
This position is responsible for technical support and development of IS Service Applications for APAC & EMEA in co-operations with the colleagues in the US and in the UK.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for identifying changing business needs of Customer Services throughout the world and turning them into IT solutions, resulting in improved efficiency of the CS organization.
• Responsible for analyzing operational issues and coordinating the remediation activities
• Manages the relationship and liaises with, the User Community, software suppliers and Symbol Management team.
• Responsible for project management as directed by Sr. Manager – manages the whole project cycle from the initial feasibility through to final delivery.
• Provides 2nd line support to Customer Services operation throughout the world.
• Provides continued support to the global 1st line support team
• Continual Monitoring and Improvement of the Business system operation, design and processes
• Willing to travel throughout the world.
Požadujeme
• Good English spoken and written
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• More than four years of progressive systems analysis and programming experience.
• Good SQL server administration and scripting skills, and PC and networking skills.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, and working knowledge of Crystal Reporting tool.
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems management on any business (service/material) applications platform (ideally Tesseract) would be preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills and understanding of cultural diversity in the world.
• Application support experience, e.g., supporting manufacturing/production/financial systems in a productive environment

The successful candidate should have and ideally would be able to demonstrate abilities in the following areas:
• Communication ability to communicate well in all areas of the business in Czech and English on
o User Level – taking into account that Users may be non technical and may not understand technical terms and jargon
o Technical Level – able to translate real problems into technical terms
o Management Level – able to communicate technical issues to a non- technical audience
• Business Awareness - show an understanding of the business processes supported by systems
o Needs to understand how the business uses the system
o Should understand how system issues can impact the Business
• Travel - the successful candidate would be based in the Czech Republic (Brno) but would be expected to provide support, on a Worldwide basis, when directed. This may involve travel to other regions as required, e.g, Asia Pacific, Europe, USA, etc
o Must have Passport
o Should be prepared to travel
