Náplň práce

*develop and publish a co-ordinated vendor management strategy to ensure an effective and consistent approach across the IT Regions
*ensure that new technology developments are communicated to domain heads to help ensure these are factored into IT technology strategy
*develop and maintain an accurate and complete list of ongoing ‘demand’ statements to be met by external suppliers, as a basis for sourcing especially with reference to capacity planning and forecasting activity
*create detailed and accurate specifications for all requirements to provide a sound basis for invitations to bid.
*Identify and short-list potential suppliers to ensure they possess the appropriate, minimum credentials, eg, products, skills sets, scaleability to meet Global ITS needs, availability of products/services, reputation in the market place; allocating suppliers to a tiering structure of importance/relationship and identifying suppliers that DPWN are willing to work with on a “Green List” of suppliers
*maintain effective communications with vendor community to facilitate a mutual understanding of requirements and capabilities.
*develop, consolidate and analyse reports on vendor performance and recommend any actions to follow up on findings.
*initiate/conduct research to ensure IT Services are in a competitive negotiating position eg, by identifying alternative sources and technologies
*work with Procurement to agree an effective negotiating strategy with shortlisted suppliers
*communicate supplier selections to relevant stakeholders and support development of plans for introduction of new vendors

Požadujeme

*strong negotiating and relationship skills
*strong understanding of technologies
*ability to matrix management particularly internal customers
*strategic understanding of commercial imperatives
*15+ yrs in IT with experience of managing RFPs and tenders. Experience must be Global
*graduate / post graduate qualification in the field of Commerce or Computer Science.
