Náplň práce

*provide technical support (ongoing development, maintenance, daily operation) of the HP OMS system
*deal with (and drive) vendor support on problem resolution
*deal with internal customers and groups supporting related technologies, develop and provide HP OMS customizations as needed
*cooperate with the product owner on service and business model improvements
*provide consultancy and/or deliver implementation projects in case of new deployments
*participate – when appropriate – on other tasks the team is responsible for (e.g. middleware, UNIX platforms, clustering technologies)

Požadujeme

*experienced with UNIX environment (preferably HP-UX); possibly other relevant platforms - Linux, *veritas Storage Foundation, Veritas clustering
*practical knowledge of Unix scripting (shell, perl)
*experienced with production operation
*general IT knowledge and background
*possibly knowledge of HP OMS or similar products
*adequate technical breadth & depth to make correct choices from alternatives in all these areas
*ability to communicate (in English) effectively both formally and informally with all those with whom working interfaces arise - colleagues, clients, customers, vendors.
*showing initiative and making time available to ensure general technical competencies and specializations are kept up-to-date in line with industry developments.
